Singer and producer Owen Whitworth Ragland brings his inner world to life through his St. Louis-based indie pop project. Owen began writing at the piano before he could talk. Building his world around music he was recording and producing music throughout childhood. While producing for other artists most notably Jordan Ward, Owen began releasing his own songs under the name Whitworth in 2022 with the philosophy of blending musicality and digestible earworm melodies with pop production esthetics. After signing with Paris based distributor Groover Obsessions, Whitworth released his first full length project Earth to Dreamer in May 2024 followed by a month long U.S tour with his 5 piece band. On the stage Owen is accompanied by a cast and crew of friends including Dominic Mauro on Drums, Elijah Melvin and Ross Spellman on guitars. Whitworth was named one of the top 5 artists in Saint Louis by Saint Louis Magazine and has received airplay from more than 300 stations across the globe accumulating more than 500k streams. Whitworth has been on the road playing more than 100 venues across 13 states including Hotel Cafe LA, Samsung 837 NY, The Mohawk ATX, Fixin-To PDX.
